It's Spring Planting Day

Just two weeks ago the temps were almost down to 0 deg C at night so we held off the official planting day until today when we find ourselves in the middle of a summer-like heat wave. Some of the gardens have already been planted but many were started today. We will do a photoshoot in a few weeks when everything is in full bloom. You can click on photos to enlarge them.

Spring Meeting

The spring meeting was very well attended and featured a special presentation from Charlene Hamilton of Crystal Ridge Farm. Spring Planting is just around the corner.

Where would we be without our volunteers?

Pat and Ernie seem to be everywhere in this community

Here comes the sun

Charlene added some lovely poetry to her presentation
